The Ministry of Public Health of Cuba and the Marketing of Cuban Medical Services S.A. are pleased to announce the call for the International Health Tourism Award, within the framework of the II International Medical and Wellness Tourism Fair, scheduled to take place from April 21 to 24, 2025, based at the Pabexpo fairgrounds.
With the aim of recognizing:
1. National or foreign medical tourism and/or wellness service institutions that have made significant contributions to one or several of the event's themes throughout its history. The response to current health challenges in Cuba and the world will also be taken into account, as well as the social impact (local, national, international, for patients and for health professionals).
2. Travel agency, tour operator or medical facilitator with relevant results in the promotion and marketing of medical and wellness tourism under the event paradigm.
3. Official print or digital media with an outstanding track record in promoting medical and wellness tourism, and a proven significant international reach.
4. Notorious or relevant personality who has made contributions to medical and wellness tourism in Cuba and internationally.
Instructions
The submission of applications will be made through the email Calidad@smcsalud.cu indicating in the subject the text "International Health Tourism Award".
The results of the awards of the different modalities will be reported at the closing of the event.
